Training and Organizational Assistance

Program Description

LA organizers

Training and Organizational Assistance program (TOA) provides funds on a reimbursable basis for organizations to hire consultants or to attend capacity building training events.  Capacity building is work that increases a group's ability to achieve its mission and build long-term organizational sustainability.

TOA helps individual groups, coalitions and networks by covering up to 80% of the costs associated with this type of 'capacity-building.'  We can even help you identify appropriate consultants and training resources to choose from.  Grants generally range from $3,500-$5,000 per calendar year.

The Training and Organizational Assistance (TOA) program will not be accepting unsolicited applications for the first several months of 2009.  From time to time, we will contact previous program participants as opportunities arise to apply for capacity-building funds.  Please check back in the summer of 2009.

Groups with current TOA awards can click here for reimbursement material.
