Useful links for capacity-building
"Capacity-building" often describes any intentional work that increases a group’s ability to achieve its mission and build long-term organizational stability. This work includes improving and organization’s operations, administration and management. These groups provide capacity-building and leadership development specifically for environmental organizations.

- Green Media Toolshed, www.greenmediatoolshed.org, is building and strengthening the communications infrastructure for the environmental movement. Green Media Toolshed is committed to providing tools and managing the communities' media assets.
- Institute for Conservation Leadership, www.icl.org, strengthens leaders, organizations, and coalitions or networks that protect and conserve the Earth. ICL uses the tools of consulting, training, coaching, meeting facilitation and research to help groups more effectively accomplish their missions.
- League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, www.voteenvironment.org, strengthens the capacity of the environmental movement to mobilize citizens as informed voters and advocates for sound environmental policies.
